With broken hearts, but deep gratitude for her life and example, we announce the passing of Kam Marie Schneider on June 4, 2026, at the age of 47.

Kam was born on August 2, 1978, in American Falls, Idaho, to Danny and Kay Behrend. From an early age, she was known for her kind heart, quiet strength, and genuine care for others—qualities that would define her throughout her life.

Family was the center of Kam's world. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Kyle, and a loving mother to Ava and Bronson. She found her greatest joy in caring for her family, creating meaningful traditions, and spending time with those she loved most.

After graduating from Aberdeen High School, Kam earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Idaho State University. She later dedicated herself to her family as a homemaker, creating a home filled with warmth, love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

Kam loved cooking, baking, traveling, and staying active. Hawaii held a special place in her heart, and some of her favorite memories were made there with family. As a breast cancer survivor, she faced life's challenges with courage, grace, and resilience, inspiring others through her strength and optimism.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. Kam loved serving others and found particular joy in working with the young women of her ward. She had a remarkable ability to see the good in people and help them see it in themselves. Whether offering encouragement, sharing her testimony, or simply listening, she made others feel loved and valued. Her quiet discipleship and genuine care for those around her leave a legacy that will continue for generations.

Kam will be remembered for her kindness, strength, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Danny and Kay Behrend, and her father-in-law, Paul Schneider.

Kam is survived by her beloved husband, Kyle Schneider; her children, Ava and Bronson Schneider; her siblings, Jason (Lori) Behrend, Cody (Sarah) Behrend, and Jenny (Jameson) Nelson; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cold Spring Ranch Stake Center, 4000 Cold Spring Drive, Lehi, Utah 84043.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing prior from 9:30 to 10:30 am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cold Spring Ranch Stake Center, 4000 Cold Spring Drive, Lehi, Utah 84043.

A Memorial Fund in Kam's honor has been set up for any wishing to contribute.
