Kasey J
Crompton
Jun 4, 1982 — Jul 11, 2023
Kasey J Crompton, 41, of Lehi, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in Spanish Fork from complications of Type One Diabetes.
Kasey was born June 4, 1982, in American Fork, Utah. He attended Lehi schools and went on to become a journeyman carpenter. He was proud of his trade and worked for many years as a talented craftsman on large construction projects throughout the Intermountain West. As a young boy, he would carry a hammer and tools as toys, and we knew he would be a carpenter.
He was married for less than one year and had one son, Kyson, with his first wife, Virginia.
He was creative in woodworking and construction and could create or build anything from decks to shelves.
Kasey and his son lived together in Spanish Fork over the past two years, and his son was his world. Managing his diabetes was difficult for him and took a toll on Kasey's health.
He had a great relationship with his entire extended family. He is survived by his son Kyson Shea Crompton, his mother, Kellie Manning of Lehi, his father, Kyle Crompton, and his stepmother Cindy of Orem. He had a close and loving relationship with his siblings. He is also survived by his loving sister Keaira Crompton-Steinke (Jeffery), best friend and brother Kolby Crompton (Dianna), his grandma Linda Manning (Frank), his nephews; Kashton, Kamdyn, Katayo, Kingson, and niece Kanyon-Skye as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kasey was preceded in death by his grandpa Frank Manning and James F. Crompton, his grandma Anna LaPreal Crompton (Putt), his uncles Jeremy Manning and Kevin Crompton, and cousins Kaylem and Jana Gilbert.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Wing Mortuary (118 East Main Street, Lehi) from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. After the funeral, a graveside service will be held at the American Fork Cemetery.
