Obituary

Kassidi Kay Tuckett — "Mama Kass" — beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, cousin, and friend — passed on to her next journey on Friday, April 24, 2026.**

Kassidi entered this world in her own unique way—born breech on April 17, 1986—to Karen Kay Beal Lewis and Bruce Rulon Tuckett. From the very beginning, she did things her own way.

Kass was beautiful and loved beyond measure. She grew up in Lehi alongside her sisters, Jesi and Kaycee, and her brother, Jake. From a young age, Kass had a heart for nurturing—whether it was a cat, dog, toad, fish, or any creature in need, she welcomed them all. She had a gift for taking in the "poor and wayward," loving them as they were, and helping restore them when she could. Currently, she was caring for four baby ducks in her room—a true reflection of her compassionate spirit.

She graduated from Lehi High School in 2004, where she built SOLID & loyal friendships. Kass formed deep and meaningful bonds throughout her life, especially with her cousins—relationships that will be cherished and remembered forever. She was someone others could always count on, and she knew she could count on them in return.

Kassidi had a fierce and determined spirit, especially on the softball field. Trained with a back roads hillbilly style, she became an outstanding player and pitcher. She wasn't afraid to throw hard and fast, doing whatever it took to win. She thrived under pressure and made it look effortless, embodying grit, strength, and resilience. And when she pitched ANGRY– it was ugly.

Kass was a devoted mother. Her three children—Kaezen Thor (17), Mayla Z (13), and Kyla R (8)—were her greatest blessing. They experienced her deep love, strength, and unwavering support through life's many challenges. She taught them through real-life moments—making them laugh, cry, and grow—and was endlessly proud of the young people they are becoming. They will carry her love with them always and continue to stand strong for her.

To those who knew her, Kass was a force of nature—the world's brightest fireball of orange love and light. She was a warrior, a protector, and a fierce fighter for anyone who needed her. She was often the loudest voice in the room, bringing energy and life to every gathering. To all who were blessed to have her in their lives, she was the one and only "Mama Kass," and she never stopped caring, loving, and fighting for those she called family, friends—even foes. She brought a spark to life that can never be replaced. Her legacy is loud, proud, and never-ending, living on far beyond her time here.

The space left in our family is devastating. Her essence is felt at home. She believes in Angels and we have many who surround our family…. especially now. She knew how to work hard play hard, love hard, and leave hard.

Love you Kass
