Kathleen L Watters, also known as Grandma dingbat to her Grandchildren, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, soon to be great, great grandmother and friend.

Kathleen was born in Nephi, Utah, August 14, 1939 to Joseph Hunter Lyman and Zetta Goble Lyman. She later married John LaVar Watters and had four children. They settled in Lehi, Utah and made their home. They later divorced. She has 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Kathleen worked as a CNA at Larsen's Nursing Home, then Alpine Valley Care Center until she retired.

Kathleen loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. Her dirt therapy in her yard and garden was her favorite. She will be remembered by her kind and loving heart.

Kathleen is survived by her sisters; Rosely (Byron) Wilkey, LaVina (Wayne) Steele, her children; Bob (Laurel) Watters, Carol Watters, Russ (Kim) Watters, and Kathy Bosch. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Hunter Lyman and Zetta Goble Lyman, her siblings; Larry Lyman, Robert Lyman, Richard Lyman and Margaret Bills, her son Joseph Leon Watters, great granddaughter Jayden Cartright and grandson Abel Frias.

A small viewing will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah for family and close friends, followed by a Graveside service at 11:00 AM at the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East.
