Kelly Ann Shepherdson, 38, of Lehi, Utah, passed away on April 21, 2024. She was born on March 3, 1986, in Provo, Utah, to Robert and Suzanne Shepherdson.
Kelly was a remarkable individual known for her perfect handwriting, love for dancing, singing, drawing, making blueberry muffins, bowling, and reading. She received a silver medal in the Special Olympics World Games in Athens, Greece, showcasing her talents and determination in swimming. Kelly's summers spent in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, surrounded by family were cherished moments in her life.
She was a proud graduate of Lehi High School and seminary, Class of 2005. Kelly was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and found solace in her place of worship and enjoyed sharing her testimony often.
Kelly will be deeply missed by her parents, Robert and Suzanne Shepherdson; grandmothers, Elizabeth Ann Shepherdson and Shirley Marie Cantrell; siblings, Sarah Shepherdson Rogers (Nathan Rogers), Mark Shepherdson (McKell Shepherdson), and Anna Shepherdson Christensen (Jaeger Christensen); and Olivia, Mason, Lincoln, and Ellie Rogers, her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert Henry Shepherdson and Richard Maurice Cantrell; uncle, Richard Kevin Baum; and aunt, Robin Cantrell Castle.
Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 721 West 2100 North, Lehi, Utah 84043, on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 11 am. A viewing will take place prior to the funeral from 9 am to 10:45 am. Wing Mortuary in Lehi, Utah, is assisting with the funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to HIVEs, an organization that Kelly loved dearly. HIVEs provides engaging activities for its participants, such as bowling, library visits, birthday celebrations, dancing, crafts, and music. Contributions can be made via Venmo to Michelle Holbrook (Venmo: Michelle-Holbrook-3).
Kelly's kind spirit and love for life will forever be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. The family expresses sincere appreciation to all those who loved and cared for her.
