Kenneth Albert Carlton, passed away peacefully, on March 4, 2025, at the age of 88, surrounded by his family.

He was born on September 6, 1936, to George Albert and Hazel Carlton in Provo, Utah. He was the oldest of five children, three brothers and 2 sisters. Ken graduated from Lehi High School in 1954. He led a life full of passion, dedication, and adventure.

He married Lorene Cleghorn on August 19, 1955, in the Salt Lake Temple and settled in Lehi, Utah. They raised eight children Gary (Jean) Carlton, Steve (Kellie) Carlton, Dennis (Mary Ann) Carlton, Brenda (Brent) Pulley, Linda (Vaughn) Olsen, Janae (Wayne) Anderson, Annette (Glenn) McIntosh and Natalie Clark. He was extremely proud of his 21 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren—always excited to hear the latest from each of them.

Ken loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and camping, particularly in Escalante, Utah. His love for nature was matched equally with sports. Ken spent many years officiating basketball games, a role he took great pride in. He was also an avid hunter, spending countless hours with his sons hunting pheasants and deer in the mountains.

He served in many callings in the Church and in the community. Ken's professional life was marked by success and hard work. He was a top performer in every role, earning multiple Top Salesman Awards throughout his career.

Ken is proceeded in death by his spouse, Lorene Carlton, his father George Albert Carlton, mother, Hazel Carlton and brother, Wayne Carlton. He is survived by his siblings Geraldine Burnham, Faye Carlton and Blaine Carlton.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
