Ketty Graciela Mayorca Alvis, 57, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021.  She was born on January 8, 1964 in Cartagena, Colombia to Carlos Julio Mayorca Vargas and Graciela Alvis Montes.

She married Ricky Vincent Mayorca Alvis on April 20th, 1991 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Since Ketty was a little girl, she was a fun-filled silly person with a heart bigger than anyone I've ever known - her parents fittingly called her Ketica, a name that I always thought described her very unique and loving personality perfectly.

At age 21, Ketty served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1984 in Cali, Colombia, where she deepened her love for the Gospel.

With a Christlike love in all her relationships, animals included, Ketty became a loving mother who was cherished and adored by her family and friends throughout all her life. I can proudly say that, 'cause I'm her dedicated husband.

As each day went by, my love for Ketty grew stronger and stronger. I finally realized in recent years that I was born to love just her with all my heart, which is why losing my sweet dear wife only makes it so much more difficult to live without her. I will, however, always love and miss Mi Vida Ketica, looking forward to the day we will be reunited as an Eternal Family through the saving power of Jesus Christ.

Until we meet again, Ketty will be deeply missed by her friends and family, her always-positive outlook on life, her loving smile and eyes that always made me melt.

Ketty's presence alone made everything more fun and life worth living, she was an angel who was always there for you. Now, like a shooting star gone too soon, Ketty is now truly the guardian angel for her family. Or, as they say in Hawaii, 'Leilani' Ketica is now a Heavenly Child reunited with family and loved ones on the other side.

We will always love you... too, too much.
