Obituary

Keven Mark Cedarstrom - February 8, 1970 to October 24, 2026

In loving memory of Keven Cedarstrom who passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026, at 56 years old.

Keven is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon and Alvira Cedarstrom, his father, Gordon Keith Cedarstrom, and his granddaughter, Sailor Row Cedarstrom.

He is survived by his parents, Carol and Patt Gollinger, his three children, Jordyn and Erik Christenson, Mckinzie and David Tonks, Kolton and Hannah Cedarstrom, his grandchildren, Bennett, Walker, Jettson Christenson, Skye, KC, Baby Girl Tonks, Scout Cedarstrom, his siblings, Russ Cedarstrom (Loretta), Jeff Cedarstrom (Taryn), Kim Cedarstrom, Stacey Taylor (JT), Debbie Cedarstrom, Shelley Allen (Mike), Heidi Cedarstrom and Katie Harris (Ryan) and many nieces and nephews.

Keven was born in Lehi, Utah, to Carol and Keith where he grew up with his grandparents, siblings and cousins. He would play in the haystacks and go pitchfork fishing for carp in the fields. He grew up on Utah Lake, where he loved going boating and slalom skiing.

In middle school he was on the wrestling team and played basketball, which he continued into adulthood. He attended Kearns High School.

He worked at Frito Lay for 31 years, where he managed the warehouse. He was such a fun and sarcastic guy that left a memorable impression on everyone he worked with. In October of 2015, Keven was nominated and won the Chairman’s Circle of Champions award form Pepsico based on outstanding performance in areas of safety, quality, service, cost, sustainability and people skills. Less than ¼ of 1% of their global supply chains and operations teams earns this prestigious award. He was the only one who was able to hunt birds in the warehouse and played pranks and made everyone smile.

Keven adored his three children and spent every possible second with them doing things they loved. He never missed a softball, basketball, or hockey game. He was the most dedicated father and wore that badge loud and proud with honor. He was the most amazing, funny, and sarcastic dad.

He loved to do anything outdoors. He spent most of his time hunting, fishing, shed hunting, four wheeling, and taking side by side rides. He loved the Soapstone Basin which he called his mountain, and rightfully so- he knew that place inside and out. He would hunt elk and deer every year with his kids and grandkids and taught them everything they know. He would hike over 13 miles in one day shed hunting and turn around and do it again the next day.

Once he had grandchildren, they were the light of his life. He never missed a game, birthday, dance performance or holiday. He loved them so deeply and he was their best friend.

Keven was a family man, the best kind. He always put them first. He was tough but kind and was always there to give advice or just to be a listening ear. He loved to be silly, sarcastic and teased them in any way he could to make them smile. He was the life of the party.

Keven was a mentor, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He was strong-willed, tough, loyal and cared so deeply for everyone in his life. He was an amazing person that made an impact on everyone he met. His wisdom and laughter will live on and will never be forgotten. In every hunt, fishing trip or mountain visit he will be there leading the way.

Services will be held at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah. Viewings will be on Sunday, November 1, 2026 from 6-8pm and Monday, November 2, 2026 from 10-11am. Funeral services will follow at 11am. Interment will be at the Lehi City Cemetery.
