We are horribly saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Kim William Erickson, 56, of Lehi Utah, on 02/20/2022. Kim passed away, surrounded by his loved ones, from sudden cardiac arrest.

Kim was born on 01/17/1966 to Steven and Lucille Erickson in American Fork Utah. After graduating from Lehi High School in Lehi Utah, he went on to work in Hawaii for seven years which led to his career in water purification with Kennecott Copper Mine.

In 1992, he met his now-wife Lisa Diaz. Kim and Lisa now have two daughters Whitney Thomas and Breann Erickson.

Kim was a kind, strong, loving father who was determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Whitney Thomas, Breann Erickson, and Lisa Erickson and always tried his best to support them.

Kim was passionate about golf and could often be found golfing the back half of Fox Hollow when he wasn't at home. He also loved collecting and could also be found collecting antiques to display in his home. His passion for knowledge was unmatched, he was always finding ways to advance his knowledge with all things.

Anyone who knew Kim knew that he was the most loving father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and husband a family could ask for. He is survived by his parents Steven and Lucille Erickson, his sister Tish Lund, his wife Lisa Erickson, his children Whitney Thomas and Breann Erickson, and his Granddaughter Alice Thomas.

The family requests that all flowers and notes be sent to Wing Mortuary. There will be a visitation with the family at Wing Mortuary on Saturday, March 5th from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM and a Graveside service will follow in the Cedar Fort Cemetery at 12:00 PM.
