Krista Michelle
Stephens Muir
Oct 2, 1994 — May 27, 2022
Krista Stephens Muir
Born Oct 2, 1994, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Lori and Kordell Stephens, and sadly left us on May 27, 2022, in Utah County, Utah surrounded by her family.
A vibrant and beautiful young woman, Krista lived the entirety of her life in kindness, grace, and humor. Krista was deeply loved and adored by her family, her many friends, her one-year-old baby Raya, and for nearly a decade, her sweet love, Keegan Muir. She was an amazing daughter, sister, friend, wife, and mother all the way until the very end, and even through all the difficulties of her battle with cancer. Despite the hardships she experienced, she never failed to always keep cracking jokes and to make those around her feel seen, loved, and cared for.
Krista was beautiful, poised, and carried a soft-spoken nature, but there was much more to her. She was an old soul with deep wisdom & incredible humor, the kind of humor always rooted in love. She lit up the room with her one-liners and the twinkle in her eye… which continued to thrill and amaze us all until the day she left.
Throughout the course of her life, Krista spent much time in quiet and honest self-reflection. Throughout her life and through all of the many joys, obstacles, health challenges, and the last year raising her first baby, Krista grew in the knowledge that she was much much more than what appeared on the surface. She began to truly understand that she was loved beyond all measure by a loving Heavenly Father and she rooted her faith in Him.
Everyone was blessed to know Krista could see and feel her deep wisdom and love. She certainly lived as Christ taught "when ye have done it unto one of the least of these". Her tender heart was always looking not to judge, but to see what was beyond the surface in all of God's creations. She felt deeply and with so much love. Intuitive and knowing that as Christ taught - we really are one.
❤️
We will all greatly miss our sweet angel Krista.
