On Wednesday, July 20, Kristopher Tengberg passed away suddenly while on a fishing trip in Alaska with his 16-year-old son and his close friend Chet Shelly. Kris was 42, at the time of his passing.

He is survived his wife Melissa, and their seven children-Taylor (on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Calgary, Canada), Kole, Ava, Carson, Audrey, Ethan, Emma. He is also survived by his parents, David and Jacqui Tengberg, his four siblings and their spouses; brother JD and Jen, brother Greg and Deborah, sister Jenny and Nate, brother Jeff and Ashlee.

He was an amazing husband, brother, son and friend. He leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, compassion, forgiveness and service.

Funeral service will be held Monday, August 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Bluffdale 1st Ward Chapel, 15429 South Iron Horse Blvd.  A viewing will be held from 11:00 to 12:30 PM prior to the service.  Interment, South Jordan Cemetery.
