LEONARD NORMAN EGAN, age 88, passed away on October 9, 2022 in Vancouver, Washington. He was born on April 14, 1934 in Burley, Idaho, to Viva Wrigley and Leonard Earl Egan. Norman married the love of his life, Carol Joy Taylor, on September 9, 1957 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Norman spent most of his childhood in Vancouver, Washington with his younger brother, Marvin Eland Egan, and his 7 cousins/pseudo siblings. He spent 18 months serving as a medic in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. After his wedding to Carol, they moved to Provo/Orem, Utah. They were married for 64 years and cherished every moment together. He loved making her laugh and holding her hand. Together, they created a beautiful legacy with 6 children, 16 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

He had a successful career in printing and publishing. Norman even created the popular printed sacrament program. Many admired him for the honesty and integrity he displayed in business and in every aspect of his life. He never spoke ill of others and chose instead to live a life of forgiveness and peace. He was known as a hard worker, a trait he instilled in his children. His greatest pride and joy were his family, to which he was wholly devoted. Most importantly, he would be proud to know that he is most remembered for the pure love he had for his beautiful wife.

Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Joy Egan; his son, Kenneth Norman Egan; and his granddaughter, Autumn Brooke Taylor.

Norman will be sorely missed and is survived by his children, Nickie (David) Winterton, Karen (Laine) Lee, Connie (Steven) Swenson, Susan Taylor, and Marshall (Nan) Egan; his 15 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. It will be a happy reunion when we see him again.

A celebration of Norman's life will be held on October 28, 2022 at the Harvest Hills LDS Chapel in Saratoga Springs, Utah, after which he will be interred at the Utah Veteran's Cemetery & Memorial Park in Bluffdale, Utah next to his sweetheart, Carol.
