Obituary

Lester Dwayne Colledge, 83 of Lehi, Utah died on September 29, 2020, surrounded by his family. Lester Dwayne Colledge born in Lehi on April 24, 1937 to Lester Joseph and Nancy Frances Durfee Colledge.

Dwayne attended Lehi high school. He served a mission in Australia. He played basketball for the Mormon Yankees while on his mission. Then attended college at SUU to where he played basketball. He came back to Lehi where he meet the love of his life, Kathryn Angus. They built there life together in Lehi. He was employed as a construction worker and retired from Oakland construction. He worked hard and taught his kids the value of hard work. He loved to play basketball. He was always telling his grandkids stories of when he was in college and how he could dunk the basketball. He loved to umpire fast pitch softball and every summer you would find him on the diamond umpiring games.

He was a faithful member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in many positions. He was so proud to have served as the bishop of the Lehi 3rd Ward. He loved his Lehi 3rd Ward members. He made many long lasting friends in his ward. He loved to garden, he would pick a rose everyday for his sweetheart our mom, Kathryn. He loved to go cat fishing. He love to visit with everyone. He enjoyed spending time with his family. They were his highest priority.

Survived by Lois (Wes) Jacobs, Sherry (Brett) Nuccitelli, Suzann (Britt) Benson, Michele (Scott) Martin, David (Jamie) Colledge, Lee (Mary) Colledge. 20 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren and 5 great great children, all who he loved dearly.

Services will be held Friday October 2, 2020 at the Cedar Hills 1st Ward chapel at 4355 W Cedar Hills Drive, Cedar Hills, Utah 84062. A viewing will be held from 9:00-10:30 am and funeral services immediately following at 11:00 am. Burial will be at the Lehi City Cemetery.
