Linda Ruth Deakin was born on April 16, 1927, in Salt Lake City, UT. She was married to James Pistorius in November 1946 and welcomed their only child, David Lynn Pistorius on November 21, 1947. Linda was a devoted wife to Jim and mother to David.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Deakin Osborne and Agnes McOmie, along with her first husband, James Pistorius, second husband Stuart Carson, and her son David Pistorius.

Linda passed peacefully after 94 ½ years on this earth and was blessed to see her grandchildren grow and have their own families. She is survived by her grandchildren, Amy (& J. Alan) Pratt, Lisa Lucas, David (& Kinsey) Pistorius, Wendy (& Miguel) Saenz, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.

Graveside service will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 N Street, SLC, Utah.
