Lola Rae Klein Ferkovich, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord,  passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on November 3, 1948, in Boise, Idaho, she was the cherished daughter of Albert Rolland Klein and Lois Irene Biesecker.

Lola grew up in Boise, attending Boise High School before continuing her education at Brigham Young University, where she met the love of her life, Alan Joseph Ferkovich. They were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on January 28, 1971. Together they built a loving family

Lola is survived by her husband Alan and their four children: Holly Hamon (Jay), Duane Ferkovich (Lindsay), Daniel Ferkovich (Amber), and Heidi Patzold (John). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, finding great joy in making each of them feel uniquely loved.

A lifelong and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lola served in numerous callings throughout her life, including the blessing of serving two senior missions with her husband. Her deep faith and love for the Savior were central to her life, and she cherished every opportunity to serve in the temple.

Lola had an incredible talent for creating meaningful and personalized gifts for those she loved. Whether it was quilting, sewing, baking, or crafting, she poured her heart into every project, especially for her children and grandchildren. Her generosity, kindness, and service to others will be a lasting legacy.

A private family service will be held in her honor. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support they have received during this time.
