Lorraine Thompson Carson, 83, passed away on December 9, 2024 in Fairfield, Utah, from complications of Diabetes.  She was born October 4, 1941 in Richfield, Utah to Rex Gillies Thompson and Varis Lorraine Willis Thompson.

She grew up in Circleville, Utah and graduated from Piute High School.   She graduated from LDS Business College and worked at Geneva Steel for 38 years.

Lorraine married Ronald L. Carson, April 26, 1960 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.  They made their home in American Fork, Utah and upon retiring they moved to their farm in Fairfield, Utah and their ranch in Smoot, Wyoming.

Lorraine is survived by her two sons; Wade (Donalyn) and Francis (Suzanne) Carson, 9 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and her brother Daniel Thompson.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ronald Carson.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Fairfield Cemetery in Fairfield, Utah.  A luncheon will be provided right after the Graveside at the Cedar Fort Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Cedar Fort, Utah for all family and friends.  Online guest book at wingmortuary.com.
