Obituary

Lyle James Doyle

February 16,1958 - July 15, 2026

Lyle James Doyle, passed away while doing one of the things he loved best, fishing. He had just reeled in a ginormous catfish at Utah Lake.

He was born to Nyle James Doyle and Coleen Chatwin Doyle in American Fork, Utah. Lyle grew up in Lehi and graduated from Lehi High School. He then went on to earn his diesel mechanics degree from the Trade Tech.

Lyle married Cyndi Seybold and had two amazing sons. They later divorced. He then married his best friend, fishing companion, and off roading/motorcycle riding partner Michelle.

Lyle worked hard to provide for his family. He was a diesel mechanic for 30 plus years at D&L Corp. Even after his retirement, he was still going in to help out with his extensive knowledge and experience in the field.

Lyle had a deep love of all things outdoors. He spent much of his time outdoors with his brother Scott. Scott was not only his brother but his lifetime friend. They had a close bond that not many have. Lyle loved to go Baja across the desert and dirt bike racing. He was part of the Sage Rider motorcycle club. Later in life he enjoyed rock hounding, arrowhead hunting, and making jewelry with his discovered treasures.

Lyle and Michelle would have Funday Mondays with their young nieces and nephews. They were fondly referred to by them as Uncle Kyle and Rant Shell. Lyle was loved by all his family and friends. Lyle was a generous and giving person. He was always willing to go out of his way to help others. His adventurous spirit will be deeply missed.

Lyle is survived by his wife Michelle Doyle. His son Levi James Doyle (Stevoni), grandson Daimen James Seybold Doyle; His son Justy Scott Doyle (Selene); His mother Coleen Doyle; and his siblings Nyleen Zuniga, LeAnn (Don) Angus, Toni (Kris) Turner, Scott Doyle, and Shelly (David) Beratto; and his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Nyle James Doyle, and his mother-in-law Sharylyn Paupard.
