Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend Makayla Kossman passed away unexpectedly on May 18 ^th 2020 after a tragic car accident. Born June 7 ^th 2000 in American Fork, Utah to Samantha Evans and Matthew Kossman. Makayla grew up in the Eagle Mountain/Saratoga Springs area, where she attended elementary school and Westlake High School before transferring to Idaho Falls High School for her junior and senior years.

Makayla was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed dancing and listening to music. She was adventurous and daring, but also introverted and introspective. She could be jumping out of an airplane over Moab or scuba diving coral reefs in Cozumel. You might find her snowboarding on the slopes of Brighton or White water rafting the Colorado. Or maybe catch her soulfully gazing into a campfire or watching the sunset on the beach. Wherever she was whatever she was doing Makayla embraced life and lived every day to its fullest.

Though our time with Makayla was short the impact she left on our lives will endure forever. So, when you think of her remember that smile that would warm your soul and celebrate the wonderful memories we got to share. Life is fragile and often too short so live each day to its fullest for tomorrow is not promised.

Makayla will join our heavenly father and grandparents Kenneth Kossman, and Patricia Jordan Kelly in the eternal afterlife.

Makayla is survived by her loving parents Samantha Evans and Matthew Kossman, her step parents Paul Dalton and Heidie Kossman, her brothers and sisters Shaelin, Jacob, Rainey, and Maravia, Her grandparents Elsie Mcentire, Debra Cole, and Richard Kellley, as well as a host of loving relatives.

Relatives and friends are invited to Makayla's visitation from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm Saturday June 6 ^th at Wing Mortuary located at 118 East Main St. Lehi Ut. 84043.
