Margarita, 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep early in the morning of April 6, 2024. She was proceeded in death by her spouse Antonio Berlangieri, siblings, Flora Josefina Unamuno Vergara, Alfredo Unamuno, Roberto Unamuno,  Luis Zenon Unamuno, her parents, Alfredo Unamuno and Maria Florencia Aguirre and many other friends & relatives.
Margarita was born on February 4, 1941 in Alta Gracia, Cordoba, Argentina, where she grew up.

Margarita attended school and learned the skill and experience that would benefit her and her family throughout her life. She learned to cook food to a perfection. She would cut the corners from the lasagna noodle to that they would fit better in the rounded corners of the pan. She was a seamstress and together with Anthony being a tailor, they could create and sew anything. She has an eye for well made clothing and would help select dresses for her 4 granddaughters for dances, proms, weddings, and other events. Margarita learned to budget and kept detailed records of the family spending. Anthony was great at making money and Margarita was great at frugally spending the money. Margarita (Mami) loved to be greeted by an Argentine custom of kissing on the cheek as you entered or exited her home. If you forgot to kiss her, she would proclaim loudly that she had not got her kiss. She loved to tell jokes, especially bathroom jokes.  She would laugh so hard telling some jokes that we never made it to the punch line.

Margarita met the love of her life, Antonio (Anthony) Berlangieri in Argentina and they were married Jan. 17, 1964. Anthony first saw Margarita when she was the princess on a parade float. They dated for five years. Margarita's love for Anthony could not be measured. They are having a great reunion. Margarita and her family moved to Glen Cove, Long Island, New York in 1964, just 3 weeks before their first daughter Claudia was born. Children Al (Alfredo) and Eli (Elizabeth) came later in New York. Margarita moved back to Argentina in 1976 with her husband where he ran a business with his brother Giuseppe (John). Being in Argentina allowed Margarita to love the people and serve in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Margarita lived in many places including Argentina, New York, Florida, and Utah.
Margarita served in many callings and assignments in The Church of Jesus Christ. She loved the people and would have many groups over to her house to eat and enjoy conversation.

Margarita was blessed with 3 children: Claudia Sanders, Alfredo (Al) Berlangieri, and Elizabeth (Liz) Day.
She has 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Margarita left her mark on the world and will be missed. She loved God and he loved people. She was always willing to serve at home, and in the Church of Jesus Christ.

A viewing will be held on Saturday April 20, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 am at the Cedar Hallow Stake Center 2178 North 1200 East Lehi, UT. A funeral service will fallow at 11:00 am. Interment Lehi City Cemetery.
