Marie Hansen Cook, 72, of Cedar Fort Utah, passed away at her home on June 22, 2023. Marie was born on May 12, 1951 to Roland and Beulah Hansen of Fairfield Utah.

After graduating from Lehi High School in 1969, Marie went on to receive her cosmetology license and worked as a beautician throughout her life.

In 1973, Marie married her love Larry Cook in the old Cedar Fort LDS chapel, they had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Marie and Larry adopted their son, Kyle Cook, in August of 1988.

Marie was preceded in death by her Mother and Father Beulah and Roland Hansen. She is survived by her Siblings; Alona Park (Harold – 2018), Ellen Harmon (Clair), Anita Turnblom (Bruce), David Hansen (Jeri), Husband Larry Cook, Son Kyle Cook, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A viewing will be held at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street in Lehi, Utah on Friday, June 30th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. On Saturday, July 1st there will be a second viewing at the LDS Wardhouse, 185 East Center in Cedar Fort, Utah starting at 10:00am. The funeral procession will begin at 11:00am to the Cedar Fort Cemetery where there will be a graveside service.
