Mark Duane Sorenson, age 84, of Lehi passed away on May 26, 2023 at home surrounded by his wife and children.  He was born on April 29, 1939 in American Fork, Utah to Duane Mark and Elva Sine Hansen Sorenson.

He married Luann Ashton, April 29, 1957 in Provo, Utah.  They were sealed at a later date in the Manti Temple for time and all eternity. Mark was a heavy equipment operator (Crane Operator) and retired after 35 years. He was an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had many callings.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters.  He is survived by  his wife Luann Sorenson, married for 66 years, children; Dale D. Sorenson, Lynette Winslow (Gordon), Lori Syddall (Jerry), Weldon M. Sorenson (Tamy), Lowell G. Sorenson (Kendra), Lana Lay (Joseph) and Marlene Oman (Glen).  He had 37 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah.  A viewing will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 6-8:00 PM at Wing Mortuary and 9:30-10:30 AM prior to the service at the mortuary.  Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.
