Marna Mae Peterson Berry passed away at the age of 91 on January 19, 2022. She was born in Lehi on August 28,1930 to Rebecca Leota and Virgil Hyrum Peterson. Marna was the fifth of six children. She loved and admired each one of her siblings. They have cared for, loved, and supported each other throughout their lives.

Marna's favorite classes in school were typing, short hand, and English. Excelling in these classes helped her make the decision to pursue a career in Business. After graduating from Lehi High School, she attended LDS Business College. She worked as an executive secretary for over 40 years. She loved her job and was a loyal and trusted friend.

Marna married her high school sweetheart and soul mate, Wallace Neat Berry. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti Utah temple on July 3, 1951. A few days after their marriage, they moved to California where Wallace was stationed for military service. While there, they developed treasured and lasting friendships.

Marna loved life and loved to dance. Wallace and Marna started taking dance classes with a group of friends from Lehi. This group of friends continued to meet monthly to dance, play games and socialize for the next 60 years.

Marna was blessed with three children who she loved and adored. She created a home where everyone felt welcome and loved. As a grandmother, she was angelic. Her great grandchildren started calling her "Great" and it was so fitting that it stuck with the whole family. She saw only the best of qualities in her grandchildren. The grand kids felt at home in her house and were always welcome to food in her fridge, a spot on her lap, or a listening ear to confide in.

Marna was always the "life of the party." People were drawn to her fun and energetic personality wherever she went. She was a disciple of Christ and a friend to all. Blessed with a contagious smile, happy countenance, and sense of adventure, she fully appreciated and enjoyed life.

She was preceded in death by her husband (Wallace Neat Berry), 2 grandchildren (Cali Berry and Brian Holbrook), and 2 brothers (Vere T Peterson and Don Arvin Peterson).

She is survived by her children: Woodruff V. (Lauri Jo) Berry , Marlece (Scott) Anderson, Wade Wallace (Jamie) Berry, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 siblings: Ruth Richins Brown, Paul Kay Peterson, and Lueen (Melvin) Kirkham.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 at the meeting house at 200 North Center Street, Lehi, Utah. A viewing will also be held Wednesday, January 26 from 10:00-10:30 at the same location. Funeral services will begin at 11:00. Interment following at Lehi City Cemetery. Funeral services will be live streamed via Zoom
