Mary Jo Ingram was born on June 13, 1935 to George Bigler and Lucille Amelia Foote Ingram in Nephi,Utah. She was the third child. Mary Jo returned to her heavenly home on Friday, January 21, 2022 to be with her eternal family. What a great reunion!

Mary Jo started working at a young age; she picked fruit, worked in the onions, and then her favorite job which was working at the Saratoga Resort in Lehi. She was a 1953 graduate of Lehi High, then she attended B.Y.U. and Utah State in their education programs. Mary Jo taught school for one year in Monticello before fulfilling an L.D.S. mission in Hawaii. She enjoyed the islands and returned there often. She moved to Salt Lake City and worked in several different jobs. She was a dedicated employee and always did excellent work.

One of her greatest talents was her ceramic work. It was a special gift when Jo gave you a ceramic item that she had painted. Her ceramics were perfection! Another love was the time that she served as a member of the Salt Lake Symphonic Choir. She loved to sing and this was a pretty famous choir traveling around the country to perform.

May Jo learned about obituaries from her mom, Lucille. So, she would visit the newspaper's obituary section, them create a personal obituary laminated to keep for the family's remembrance.

Mary Jo was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She is survived by her sister, Cinda Ingram, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great's who loved and adored her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lucille, her brothers, Sherman, Karl and Cregg and her sisters, Colleen and Claudia.

Mary Jo was loved by her family and many friends. she will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held Saturday January 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Vine Bluff Cemetery 1200 North 400 East Nephi, Utah. A live stream of the service can be found on Wing Mortuary's Facebook page.
