She was born to Robert & Cecilia Remund on December 9, 1937 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She had a wonderful childhood with friendships she cherished her entire life. She learned to love music and literature in her parents' home and continued these throughout her life, enriching the lives of her children and grandchildren. She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1972 and moved her family to Lehi, Utah where they were active in church and community. Mary later moved to Spanish Fork, Utah where she lived the last twenty five years of her life. She leaves behind many friends and family who will miss her quick wit, ready smile and delightful laugh.

In the midst of her health struggles in her later years, she remained posititive, joyful, full of laughter and always made the best of her situation. Her soul was filled with light and love for her children and grandchildren who were her greatest joy. She was a true example of unconditional love.
She lived her life centered in Christ and set that example for all those that new her.
