Obituary

Matthew Ammon Jensen, born to Douglas Jensen and Carla Stirling Jensen, departed this life on Friday, March 3, 2023, due to health concerns. Matthew was our son, brother, and uncle. He was a loyal friend and cared deeply for those around him. He had a kind and playful heart. He was brilliant with technology and innately seemed to know how things worked and connected together. He loved helping and teaching anyone who struggled with such things. He also loved all things Disney and had an impressive collection of memorabilia. We love him and miss him.

Matthew graduated from American Fork High School and attended UVU. He loved being part of the stage crew and learned how to run lights and sound. He worked for the city of American Fork doing light and sound for many events and also worked for Poll Sound for a time.

Matthew enjoyed working for Associated Foods in a variety of managerial positions and made many close friendships with his coworkers.

Matthew was a fantastic uncle, often surprising his nieces and nephews with visits and thoughtful gifts. You could find him cuddling with one of them at any given moment.

Matthew is survived by his parents Doug and Carla Jensen; his sister Rachel Jensen, brothers John, Michael, and Daniel Jensen, sister-in-law Holly Jensen; and his five beloved nieces and nephews.
