Mauro Ezequiel González González returned to his Heavenly home on May 2nd, 2021. He was born in Valladolid, Castilla y León, Spain, on June 10th, 2004, to Dario González and Paula González. He was the youngest of 2 kids, and will be forever our "pequeñito." In 2009, along with his entire family, he moved to Utah, eventually moving to Lehi, where he spent most of his life.

From the moment he was born, we knew he was a special Spirit; he was happy, cheerful, and full of silliness and laughter. He loved playing the clarinet, talking to anyone and everyone, playing video games, and hanging out with his friends. He was always trying to make people laugh and always succeeded at making people feel loved.

He was a junior at Skyridge High School at the time of his passing. Band was among the highlights of his middle and high school experiences; his favorite part of school, however, was the socializing. Mauro lived and breathed being surrounded by people, finding new friends, and developing relationships with everyone around.

His biggest passion was cars. He wanted to one day be a mechanic and a car racer. He was always in awe by any nice car that drove by and loved learning about cars and racing. He would give you countless details about car parts and car history. Endless discussions started with a "guess what?" followed by a conversation about car facts.

His last week of memories were with his parents and his sister in Hawaii on a family vacation, spending time on the beach, working on his tan, eating malasadas, chasing away crabs, surfing, and learning about new cultures and people.

He is survived by his parents, Dario and Paula González, his oldest sister, Patricia, and by their dog, Barley; by his grandparents, Justino and Silvia González, and Héctor and Emiliana González; by his great grandmother, Olga Indico; by his uncles and aunts, and by his many, many cousins.

Mauro will be missed every day by his parents, his sister, his grandparents, his aunts and uncles, his cousins, and by his many good friends. His light will continue to shine through the love that they felt from and continue to feel for him. Memories of him will be cherished and treasured by those whom he interacted with.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 8th, at 11 AM at the Lehi East Stake Center meetinghouse, located at 851 N. 1200 E. in Lehi. A viewing will be held an hour prior to the service. The interment will immediately follow the service at the Lehi City Cemetery.

Mauro Ezequiel González González regresó a su hogar celestial el 2 de mayo de 2021. Nació en Valladolid, Castilla y León, España, el 10 de junio de 2004, hijo de Dario González y Paula González. Era el menor de dos hermanos y siempre será nuestro "pequeñito". En 2009, junto con toda su familia, se mudó a Utah y finalmente se mudó a Lehi, donde pasó la mayor parte de su vida.

Desde el momento en que nació, supimos que era un Espíritu especial; era feliz, alegre y lleno de tonterías y risas. Le encantaba tocar el clarinete, hablar con todo el mundo, jugar videojuegos y salir con sus amigos. Siempre estaba tratando de hacer reír a la gente y siempre logró hacer que la gente se sintiera amada.

Era un estudiante de quinto año en Skyridge High School en el momento de su fallecimiento. Banda fue uno de los aspectos más destacados de sus experiencias en la escuela media y secundaria; su parte favorita de la escuela, sin embargo, era la socialización. Mauro vivía y respiraba el estar rodeado de gente, encontrando nuevos amigos y desarrollando relaciones con todos los que lo rodeaban.

Su mayor pasión eran los coches. Quería algún día ser mecánico y piloto de autos. Siempre estaba asombrado por cualquier buen coche que pasaba y le encantaba aprender sobre autos y carreras. Daba innumerables detalles sobre las partes de los coches y la historia de ellos. Las discusiones interminables comenzaban con un "¿adivina qué?" seguido de una conversación sobre hechos relacionados con coches.

Su última semana de recuerdos fue con sus padres y su hermana en Hawaii en unas vacaciones familiares, pasando tiempo en la playa, bronceándose, comiendo malasadas, ahuyentando cangrejos, surfeando y aprendiendo sobre nuevas culturas.

Le sobreviven sus padres, Dario y Paula González, su hermana mayor, Patricia, y su perro, Barley; sus abuelos, Justino y Silvia González, y Héctor y Emiliana González; por su bisabuela, Olga Indico; por sus tíos y tías, y por sus muchos, muchos primos.

Mauro será extrañado todos los días por sus padres, su hermana, sus abuelos, sus tías y tíos, sus primos y sus muchos buenos amigos. Su luz seguirá brillando a través del amor que sintieron y seguirán sintiendo por él. Los recuerdos de él serán apreciados y atesorados por aquellos con quienes interactuó.

Los servicios fúnebres se llevarán a cabo el sábado 8 de mayo a las 11 de la mañana en el centro de reuniones del Centro de Estaca Lehi Este, ubicado en 851 N. 1200 E. en Lehi. Se llevará a cabo una visita una hora antes del servicio. El entierro será inmediatamente al servicio en el cementerio de la ciudad de Lehi.
