Max Carl Smith, 76, of Chino Valley, AZ, passed away on November 10, 2023. He was born on March 5, 1947, in Lehi, UT to Carrol and Ruth Keetch Smith.

Max attended Lehi High School before serving in the Army from 1966 to 1969. He pursued a successful career as the owner of Aim Plastics. Specializing in manufacturing sacrament cups, detergent scoops and various candy tubs.

Max was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was known for his kind and loving nature. He enjoyed panning for gold, boating on Lake Powell, and horseback riding. He also had a love for vanilla ice cream, fat boys and banana cream pie.

Max is survived by his wife, Cozette, her daughter Melissa (Paul) Ambrose, former spouse, Cecile Raybould Smith, and their children Tara Smith, Sonya Smith, and Amanda (David) Barnson. He was a beloved grandfather, cherished brother to Marilyn Larson, and leaves behind many other relatives.

Max was preceded in death by his parents, his son Dustin, his sister Ruth Ann, and his granddaughter Breeauna.

Funeral services will be held in Chino Valley, AZ, on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Church (441 West Perkinsville Road, Chino Valley). The service will be broadcasted via zoom at 10:45 a.m. for friends and family that cannot attend.

Graveside services will be held December 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lehi City Cemetary, Lehi, UT.

Max will be remembered for his loving nature and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
