Michael Jon Beagley, 72, peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father on July 29, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mike was born on December 3, 1953, to George Junior Beagley and Vayomi Juanita Bowden. He was raised in Magna, Utah, with six siblings Steve (Rose) Beagley, Ann (D) (Dave) Richards, Cindy (Kelly) Astill, Brad (Patty) Beagley, David (Marlene) Beagley, Darline (Mark) (D) Debry, where he developed a lifelong love for horses, farm life, and the outdoors. He graduated from Cyprus High School with the Class of 1972 before faithfully serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Upon returning home, Mike married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Julie Ann Raisor, in the Salt Lake Temple on June 12, 1975. Together they built a beautiful eternal family and shared more than 51 years of love, faith, and devotion.

Mike was a man of many talents and was never afraid to pursue new opportunities. He worked as a skilled sign maker and in the HVAC industry before following a new dream later in life. He attended Weber State University’s Radiologic Technology program and continued his education at the University of Utah, where he specialized in MRI, proving his personal mantra that he was smarter than most with only “half a brain.” Throughout every stage of his career, Mike was known for his strong work ethic, willingness to help others, and genuine kindness.

Mike and Julie were blessed with four children: Ben (Janet) Beagley, Nicole (Jeremy) Hansen, Tyler (Elisha) Beagley, and Candace Beagley. His greatest joy was his family. He was a proud grandfather to 19 grandchildren and a loving great-grandfather to three great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immeasurable happiness to his life.

Mike had an unwavering testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and remained faithful to the very end. His love for the Savior guided the way he lived, served, and loved others. Throughout his life, he faithfully served in many callings within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including as an elders quorum president, scout leader, and temple worker. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose gentle spirit and compassionate heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Mike loved camping, fishing, hiking, riding motorcycles, and spending time outdoors. He always had a wonderful sense of humor—even naming his dogs after his sisters. Later in life, he found joy in painting, reading, swimming, and journaling, leaving behind treasured reflections and memories for those he loved.

More than anything, Mike will be remembered for the love he freely gave. He had a remarkable ability to make others feel seen, valued, and cared for. His quiet strength, steady faith, warm smile, and generous heart will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

We take comfort in the knowledge that Mike has been joyfully reunited with many loved ones who preceded him in death. We can only imagine the beautiful reunion that must have taken place as he was welcomed home by family and friends who have gone before him, now together again in peace and joy.

The family would like to thank the Rocky Mountain Care Hospice team for their wonderful and compassionate care. We also sincerely appreciate every visitor, every phone call, and every kind word shared during this time. Your love and support have been a great comfort to our family.

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in the knowledge that families are eternal and rejoice in the promise that we will be together again. Until that joyful reunion, we will carry his legacy of faith, love, kindness, and service in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 2:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 49 West Tanner Lane, Saratoga Springs, UT. Viewings will be held Friday, July 31, 2026 from 6-8pm and Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 12:30pm until the service begins, both at the church location.
