Michael C
Butterfield
Aug 14, 1947 — Aug 6, 2020
On August 6, 2020 our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather returned to his heavenly home at the age of 72 after a sudden illness.
Born August 14, 1947 to George "Jeff" and Alena Butterfield in Lehi, Utah. Mike was a lifelong resident of Cedar Fort, Utah. A place he truely loved. He graduated from Lehi High School and married the love of his life RaeVone Street in Provo, Utah. Together they raised one daughter Tammy, two sons Todd and Tyler. While raising his family Mike worked for the Desert Chemical Plant working his way up to Supervisor for many years. He was a hard worker and was recognized for his many accomplishments throughout the years.
Mike was a dedicated family man, from valiantly helping care for Tyler to rodeoing with Tammy and fixing up trucks and bikes with Todd. He taught and raised all his children to love the great outdoors. Fishing, hunting, camping, boating, you name it, Mike was enjoying it and making friends along the way. Mike had a love for riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and going on adventures driving around the desert with Rae and the kids. He was tough but tender hearted man and peacemaker. A jokester and tease, he loved to make his grandbabies laugh. Mike was an avid collector of all things and could fix anything that was broken. He was a friend to all and always stopped to help anyone.
Mike is survived by his wife RaeVone; two children Tammy and Todd, grandchildren; Kelcey (Brian) Pedockie, Natasha Butterfield (Travis), Shay (Daxton) Woods, Colt Butterfield, great-grandchilren; Kenneth, Kingston, Konrad, Kora, Daytin, Sage, Ryder, Maddox, and Bowden. Preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Claudia and Valorie and his son Tyler Butterfield.
A viewing will be held Friday, August 14, 2020 from 6-8pm at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah. Graveside services will be held in the Cedar Fort Cemetery, 210 South 100 West, on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10:00am.
