Michael Lin Pearson was born to Mitch & Adella Pearson on July 3, 2007.   Everyone celebrated his arrival with fireworks!  Michael, Mike or Mikey, no matter what you called him, Michael was always the life of the party.

Michael joined the family as the younger brother of Addie & Lilly and the only boy.  He immediately established dominance over mom's heart and used that to his advantage regularly.

His impulsivity and sense of humor got him in to trouble often, but it was never a distractor from his primary objective of making people laugh or having fun. Michael loves sports, concerts with family, hanging out with friends, gaming, You Tube and learning, but he really loved nontraditional learning, especially learning obscure facts about obscure things.  He would go through learning phases and was currently going through a WWII phase and was devouring every movie and documentary he could find.  He loved to test others' knowledge of the things he learned, and he had an amazing memory when it came to the things he learned in documentaries or on You Tube.

Michael loves vehicles of all kinds and had big hopes and dreams for his 4Runner which he'd recently started working on.  He has a large online shopping cart full of suspension kits, bumpers, racks, lights and every other cool thing he could imagine for it.  He had a long wish list of future sports cars starting with his much-loved Porsche 911 GT3 RS.  He loved to play "what's your favorite?" or "What car is this?" or "If you could only have one car, what would it be?"  His dad sucked at the games, but he persisted.  He loved to learn about cars and always wanted to share the love.

Michael is Love & Light.  No matter what the venue, he could find a way to serve someone or make someone smile or laugh. You could not find a better baby-sitter; this boy loves kids & and it wasn't uncommon to find him entertaining all the little kids at any large function.  Michael has a gift for making people feel comfortable and at ease and seemed to move between different groups of people and genres with ease.

He has always been a little like a sheep dog that was better behaved after a good workout, so Michael stayed busy over the years by racing BMX, riding Motorcycles, Playing Lacrosse and Basketball, and rock climbing. His latest passion was snow boarding.  The past 2 ski seasons Michael went to Sundance every Friday with his Aunt Lanai and cousins Joey, Eloise, Charlie, and Sam.  He loved skiing with those kids!

He loved gaming with his friends and family. He spent many hours playing Forza and Trailmakers because he could race or drive the things he built.  He loved to show his full garage of vehicles and talk about all of the tuning he'd done.  Some of the games he loved were Rainbow 6 Siege, Minecraft, Call of Duty just to name a few.  Basically, he loved games, whether around a board game at the table, or chess, or on a computer, he loved to play.

Michael had a beautiful quick mind.  His last trip with his mom and dad took him to Augmented Enterprise Summit in Texas.  There were several product booths and Michael tried them all.  At one booth, one of the men was astonished at how far Michael got in the simulation, saying that no one had gotten that far into the simulation.  One of the companies offered him "a job".

Michael did take his own life and as much as it pains us to even say that or put it here after these beautiful memories, we believe it's important. Michael didn't have the "signs" and we believe every one of us is susceptible to the darkest of dark moments.  If you or someone you know are struggling, help is available.  Dial or text 988 to speak with a crisis counselor.

He will be missed terribly.  We as his family know the Plan of Salvation is real.  The Atonement is real – it's already been done, and THIS is covered.  Michael can and WILL progress.  Jesus Christ the creator of all things and the Savior of each person knows Michael's heart and he will be healed.
