Mickie Jean Palmer Starke transitioned to heaven on September 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at Holy Cross Hospital in Lehi, Utah.

Mickie Jean was born to Richard Alma Palmer and Nellie Paulean Palmer on October 13, 1944.  She was the 2nd of three children.  Mickie Jean is survived by her brothers, Lester Lee Palmer, Frank Len Palmer and their children, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Mickie Jean was married to the love of her life, Frank Preston Starke on March 28, 1964.  Mickie Jean lived for 78 years.  She reluctantly left behind her adoring husband, Frank Preston Starke, their children, Kerrie Starke, Frank Starke, Sundie Phillips and Kristie Patten.  She had loving relationships with each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mickie devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Mickie did not want to leave her family.  She never complained about her physical condition, however her body finally had to give up.

Mickie was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.  As a woman of immense unwavering faith, Mickie wished to have a celebration of eternal life, in honor of the promise of families being together forever, promised to all by Jesus Christ. She would love to be remembered with stories that celebrate what was good and blessed in her life.
