Mikol Bruce Miller, 72, passed away on July 26, 2025 from pancreatic cancer.  He was born on April 3, 1953 to Carlos Bruce Miller and Sherrie Colleen Drage in Provo, Utah. He was the second child in his family.  He had an older sister, Toni, and two younger sisters, Tami and Liz. He spent his childhood in Orem, Utah.  He attended Orem High School where he had the best of friends who he cherished his whole life. After High School he lived and worked in Alaska for a time where he gained an appreciation of the outdoors.

Mikol married Rebecca Lynn Farnsworth on Sept 18, 1975 in the Salt Lake Temple.  Mikol and Rebecca were blessed with two daughters, Jenifer Joy and Emily Louise. They built a home in Springville, Utah, where his girls were raised.  Mikol married his second wife Catherine Tooke, in 1994.  They lived in Spanish Fork until 2006 when they moved to Orem and eventually parted ways.

Mikol owed seven bike shops in the state of Utah. He loved working with his hands, fixing and creating things. He loved to hunt, fish, bike and run.  He ran five marathons in his life time. His greatest love and passion was golf. He competed in many tournaments. In 1983, he played in the Riverside Member-Guest Mulligan Golf Tournament, hit a hole-in-one and won a brand new car!

Mikol became a vocational teacher at Independence High School in Provo teaching bike repair to students. He served and worked in the Provo Temple as an ordinance worker. He retired and moved to Heber City where he volunteered at the Homestead Golf Course. He loved his time there. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in February 2025.

Mikol is survived by his daughters, Jenifer Kidd (Damian) and Emily Lewis (Jake), His sisters, Toni Carter, Tami Peck and Liz Morris, and his half-brother, Jason Miller. Grandchildren, Madeline Kidd, Scarlett Kidd, Jude Kidd, Jackson McBee, Christian Lewis, Henry Lewis, Hazel Lewis, Teddy Lewis and Eliza Lewis. As a family, we know he is enjoying a happy reunion with his mother, father and grandparents. We will miss his sense of humor, his gentle nature and his tenderness. He always told us "I love you and be careful".

Mikol requested a graveside service. It will be held at the Lehi Cemetery for family and friends on Saturday Aug 9, 2025 at 11:00AM.
