Miriam Elizabeth (Meyer) Foster, 83, returned home to her loving Heavenly Father on November 2, 2021 at her home in Highland, Utah surrounded by her family.

Miriam was born on April 13, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jacob and Doris Meyer. She married the love of her life Thomas Foster on July 19, 1958. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple on February 8, 1967. They made their home in Highland, Utah where they raised their five children.

Miriam graduated from Granite High School in 1956 and went to work for the telephone company.

She dedicated her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, family, church, and the Savior. She enjoyed spending time reading but most of all she was happiest getting together with family.

Miriam had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and important. She smiled and laughed often. She encouraged everyone to do and be their best and to live in faith of Jesus Christ. She will forever be missed by her eternal companion, family and friends who all loved her very much.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Foster, and their children; Callie (Jim) Guynn, Jill (Dan) Stevenson, Tom (Kim) Foster, Jake Foster, Trina (Richard) Healey, 15 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, her brothers; David (Geri) Meyer, Earl (Jodi) Meyer, sister Kaylene (Terry) Zierenberg. Preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Doris Meyer and sisters; Shirley (Perry) Kassing and Leona Meyer.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 in the Highland 37th Ward Chapel, 9626 North 6800 West, Highland, Utah at 11:00 AM. Family and friends may call Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chapel and on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM prior to the service. Interment, Highland City Cemetery.

The service will be live streamed on the Wing Mortuary Facebook page.  After the family has their family prayer, then the service starts on the Facebook page.
