Nola Myrl Wilkins Beecroft, age 90, passed away peacefully at home- April 2nd, 2026.

Nola arrived in this life on February 20, 1936 to Orman Lamond and Mildred Murray Wilkins in St. George, Utah.

Nola grew up during the hardships of the Great Depression and WW2 in the harsh fields and red rocks of Southern Utah, living on various family farms as the fifth child of six children, which would firmly instill within her a strong understanding of hard work, strength of spirit, faith in God and love of family.

She attended grade schools in St. George, and graduated from Murray High School in May 1954, after her family relocated to Murray, Utah for a time during her senior year.

A few short years later she was introduced to the love of her life… a rugged, tall, handsome young farm boy named David Beecroft.

Nola and Dave soon fell deeply in love and were married on Dec. 12, 1958, in Murray Utah. Later, on May 19, 1983, their union and family would be sealed for Time and Eternity in the Jordan River Temple.

Together they made their initial family home in "rural" South Jordan, Utah, where they were blessed with three strong sons Douglas Lamont, Todd Miles and John David… In early 1972 they purchased and built their dream home on a small cattle farm in Lehi, Utah.

To help make ends meet, Nola obtained a secretarial position with Alpine School District at the district offices in American Fork, UT where she worked until she was ultimately blessed with a fourth child, a dear daughter, Kimberly.

Later when the children were all in school, Nola resumed her career with Alpine School district, this time as the lead secretary at Lehi Jr High where she worked until her retirement.

Nola loved her Savior and was a devoted and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in various ward and stake callings, but her favorite was the numerous years spent sharing her vast musical talents as ward pianist and organist.

Nola and Dave lived together in their Lehi home until David's passing on Oct. 11th, 2012 after 54 years of marriage.

Nola dearly loved her wonderful family, and is matriarch to her four children- Doug (Gaye) Beecroft, Lehi- Todd (LeAnne) Beecroft, St. George- John (Ingrid) Beecroft, Lehi- and Kimberly (Brett) Street, American Fork... her thirteen amazing Grandchildren and twenty-five precious Great Grandchildren… with more on the way.

Nola was truly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed for many things, including her creative talents making personal birthday and holiday cards- her amazing talent for creating poems- writing family stories and histories- together with her sweet, caring personality and bright, warming smile.

Funeral services for Nola will be held Saturday April 11th at 12:00 noon, with a viewing starting at 10:30 AM at the Lehi 2nd Ward LDS Chapel on 481 East 300 North, Lehi, UT.

Dedication and interment will take place immediately after at the Lehi City Cemetery.
