Ethel Nora Johnson, 97, died Thursday, May 27, 2021 in Lehi, Utah. She was born July 16, 1923 in Ioka, Utah. She was the proud, loving mother of nine children always looking after their needs. She resided in Southern California for 50 years. She especially enjoyed helping and being of service to her children whether helping one son build condos or pitching in for another son when needed after a serious surgery. Whatever her children needed, if possible, she was there.

She was an outstanding employee for JC Penny's for 30 years and had a talent for decorating display windows. She was a Supervisor and admired for her dedication, honesty and being a hard worker. She had many friends there and was loved by all who worked with her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sarah Ann Mecham and Frank Mecham, and 11 siblings; husband Alton Maurice Johnson; and sons, Wallace Maurice Johnson and Stanley Lynn Johnson; two grandsons, and two great, grandsons.

She is survived by her daughters; Nancy Astorga, Wynlee Hunt, Carma Linkous and her husband Tom Linkous, and Jeanne Tull, and daughter-in-law JewDee Johnson; and sons; Philip Johnson and his wife Delma Johnson, Wesley Johnson and Ronald Johnson; and 25 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren, and 10 great, great grandchildren.

Visitation and closing of the casket will be Monday, June 7th, at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, Utah, 84043, from 10-11 am. The funeral service will be at the LDS Chapel, 1125 West 300 North, Lehi, Utah from 12-1 pm. She will be interred at Rose Hills Cemetery, Whittier, California alongside her husband.
