Paulette Welch Barnhart, age 73, of Saratoga Springs, Utah, passed away peacefully at home on August 31, 2025.Paulette was born on September 15, 1951, to Ivan Vern Welch and Marion George.

She was married and sealed for time and all eternity to Clyde Barnhart in the LDS temple, a commitment that reflected her deep faith and devotion.

A graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in education, Paulette dedicated many years of her life to teaching and caring for special needs children—a calling she approached with compassion, patience, and love.
A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Paulette held a strong and enduring testimony of the gospel. She served faithfully in many church callings and lived a life of quiet service and devotion.

Paulette is survived by her children: Ryan (JoLynn) Runolfson of Vernal, UT; Charles Jeremy Runolfson of Herriman, UT; Eric Lynn (Krissy) Runolfson of Hanna, UT; Graham Ian Dow of Provo, UT; Meredith Rose (Adam) Bean of Provo, UT; and Garret R. Dow of Orem, UT. She also leaves behind a cherished legacy of 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, three brothers, and two sisters.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her dear husband, Clyde, who surely welcomed her home with open arms.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS chapel located at 2181 Harvest Moon Drive, Saratoga Springs, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. Paulette will be laid to rest at the Provo City Cemetery: 610 South State Street, Provo, UT.

She will be remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend—an example of faith, love, and quiet strength. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
