Pearl Louise Beveridge Johnson, age 85, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, in her home. Louise was born May 8, 1937, in American Fork to John Newbern and Pearl Jeffs Beveridge.

She married Gary S. Johnson on April 14,1955. For 46 years, they were soulmates and best friends until the passing of Gary in 2001. Together, they had four children: Leana, Holly, Clay (Julie) and Edwin. They were her greatest joy along with her seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Louise loved to cook and was very talented at painting, knitting and crocheting. For many years, she was a lunch lady at Lehi High School while her children were in school so she could keep a close eye on them. She also made some very good lifetime friends while there.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Louise enjoyed the gospel and had a strong belief in her Savior.

Louise is survived by her three children: Holly Passey, Clay (Julie) Johnson and Edwin Johnson, all of Lehi, UT. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and siblings Linda (Danny) Nelson, Ben Beveridge, Jesse Beveridge and Jeanie (Hal) Christensen.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gary Johnson; daughter Leana Johnson; her parents John and Pearl Beveridge; brothers Ray Beveridge, Bruce Beveridge and John Beveridge; and sisters Florence Kerr and Gail Nielsen.
