Phillip T Brammer died peacefully in his home in Saratoga Springs, Utah with his family by his side on June 2, 2025. He was 78 years old.

Phil was born December 4, 1946, in Rigby, Idaho, to James Brammer and Hazel Taylor. Phil and his twin sister Phyllis were the youngest of 5. This dynamic duo were best of friends and loved to explore and often get themselves into hot water. He graduated from Madison High School in Rexburg in 1965.

Phil enlisted in the Air Force in 1968 and was stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War. After being discharged he attended school at Brigham Young University. Phil met Della Thompson during that time. They married May 27, 1972 in the Idaho Falls Temple. Phil graduated with a BS in Geography.

Family and service were central to Phil's life. Their first child, Aaron, joined the family in Provo. With a job offer with the federal government, they moved to Rock Island, IL. Beckie joined the family soon after. The next move was to central PA to continue federal service with the Army and later working at the Navy base in Mechanicsburg. Debbie, Michelle and Sarah joined the family in PA. Phil retired from the federal government in 2004, and after 30 years in PA, Phil and Della moved first to Spanish Fork, UT and then Saratoga Springs, UT, where Phil enjoyed his retirement years.  Over time the family grew to include many in-laws and grandkids.

Phil loved to draw, especially birds. He loved looking through cookbooks and finding new recipes and making them. He loved to travel even when he lost mobility. He loved serving in his many callings over the years for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since 1979 Phil has kept journals and they are now a treasure to his family.

Phil is preceded in death by his father James Brammer, mother Hazel Taylor Brammer Clements, step-father Fred Clements, brother James Brammer, sisters Margaret Hodges and Helen Getsinger. He is survived by his twin sister Phyllis Jones (Don), wife of 53 years Della Brammer, son Aaron Brammer (Charmain), daughters Beckie Brammer, Debbie Sanders (Eric), Michelle Jenson (Andrew) and Sarah Huntsman (Matt). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren who were privileged to call him Grandpa: Brianna, Alexa, Shakeira, Dragun, Zac, Jerome, Sophia, Elanor, Charlotte, Sawyer, Callum, Kima, Isla, Eric, Harper, Millie, and Ewan as well as many nieces and nephews.
