Phillip Clayton Hall returned to our Heavenly Father on June 14, 2025. He was born on December 26, 1952, to Clayton and Patricia Hall.

As he was growing up, he lived in Sandy, Utah; Washington State; Lehi, Utah. His family eventually settled in Highland when his father purchased The "Creek". Where many fond memories were made.

Phil loved playing sports throughout his youth, especially baseball and football. He was proud to play for the American Fork Cavemen football team. As a sophomore, his team went undefeated. He had a deep love for horses and the great outdoors. Phil cherished time with his family, always striving to go camping, deer hunting, and fishing whenever he could.

He married the love of his life, Connie Sorenson, in March of 1972. They had five wonderful children together and were married for 14 years before divorcing. In 1993 he married Kathy Hunter, and they also eventually divorced.

Throughout his career, Phil worked as a brick mason and also spent time as a mechanic for Midas Muffler—but he always returned to his true trade. He was a Master Brick Mason and was proud to let everyone know.  In March of 2010 he experienced an industrial accident at the City Creek project in Salt Lake City. It ended his career and almost ended his life.

He was a member of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints, and loved the Ward he lived in.

He is survived by his siblings: Danny (Sue) Hall, Charlene (David) Gardner, Mary Ann Fraughton, Cindy Cook, and Ranae (Greg) Lupus.

He is also survived by his five children: Chad (Brooke) Hall, Shannon (Bart) Staples, Manda (Corey) Blanchard, Chyenne (Cara) Hall, and Kassie (Dustin) Bushnell.

He leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Patricia Hall; his nephew Adam Herrera; his brother-in-law, Mike Fraughton; his grandson, Colton Austin Hall; and his great-grandson, Kenneth Colton Perkins.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 24.
