Obituary

Phyllis Marjorie Fillmore Gray was reunited with her spouse Glen Preston Gray on July 25, 2024.

Born to Ronald and Neva Fillmore, she was raised most of her life in Midway, Utah. She was one of six children. She attended Wasatch High School. She was sealed to her sweetheart, Glen, at the young age of 17 in the Salt Lake City LDS temple. She had a deep love for her siblings and shared a special closeness to each of her sisters.

Mother of five children, she spent many days supporting her children in a variety of sport endeavors. She was passionate about her children's dreams and even helped in creating a fundraiser for the Lehi city baseball association in order for her children to further succeed.

Phyllis had a passion for collecting and making dolls, which she received from her mother in law. She was animated talking about her dolls and would lovingly show anyone her beloved "doll room".

Grandma was known for her famous Christmas cookies! She would gather the grandkids to make them each year. Leading up to Christmas you could always find an assortment of cookies including when we all gathered together for a large Christmas dinner. She had a special treat jar hidden that she'd let the grandkids eat from whenever their parents weren't looking.

She had a deep love for her Savior and often testified of Him. She served in many capacities throughout her life including as relief society president, cub scout leader, and visiting teacher.

Saddened by her loss, we are thrilled for her to be reunited with Glen and with her parents, whom we know she's missed.

Often seen with a Pepsi in hand, here are our final cheers to you Mom, Grandma.

She is survived by her children Robert (Suzie), Douglas (Wendy), Neva, Darren (Noelle), Zane (DeShelle), her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her spouse, Glen Preston Gray. Her parents Ronald and Neva Fillmore, her siblings Betty Durrant, Dorothy "Dot" Zetko,  Barbara Ritchie, Melvin "Vern" Fillmore, and David Fillmore. Her daughter in-law Lisa Goble Gray, and grandchild Matthew Saris.
