Obituary

RaeVone Butterfield, age 74. Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Passed away peacefully in her Cedar Fort home on June 9th 2023, after a long battle with cancer and diabetes.

RaeVone was born in Lehi to William and Alice Fox Street. She was the youngest of 11 children. RaeVone was raised in Lehi where she attended Lehi High School and she met and married the love of her life Michael Butterfield. Mike and RaeVone made their home in Cedar Fort, where they raised three children Tammy, Todd and Tyler. The family always spent time together going on many camping, hunting and fishing trips together. It was always such a great time with her.

Mike and RaeVone's favorite things to do were to go on long rides in the truck and on the side by side. They were always exploring new places out in the West Desert looking for wildlife, taking in the nature and gathering rocks. They were always coming home with new treasures that they had found and exciting stories to tell.

The couple was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren which RaeVone adored. Birthdays and Holidays were important to RaeVone. She loved having the family over at her home to eat and celebrate. Always preparing way too much food, she would never let anyone leave hungry. RaeVone retired from the Alpine School District where she was a Special Education Aid. She always enjoyed helping others and many times opened her home to not only family but others in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Alice Street, Jeff and Alena Butterfield, her beloved husband Michael Butterfield, son Tyler Butterfield, brothers; Ron, Lee, Wayne, Lavar Street, Zen Street, sisters LaDean Nerdin, Cleona Brown, Valerie Stermer, and Claudia Rose.
Survived by her daughter Tammy Butterfield, son Todd Butterfield (Emily), Ex-daughter in-law Danelle Butterfield, sisters Lucille Erickson, Marilyn Earl, and brother Stan Street.

RaeVone was such a wonderful woman and will be missed dearly by her family, friends and all of the lifes which she has touched.
