Obituary

Randy Brian Johnson

May 28, 1977 - April 27, 2025

Randy Brian Johnson, 47, of Lehi, Utah, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. Born on May 28, 1977, Randy graduated from Lehi High School in 1995 and continued his education by graduating from Provo College in 2002. For the past 16 years, he worked at Jackson's in Lehi where he took great pride in his work and formed meaningful connections with his customers, who became an extended family to him.

Randy served as a missionary in the Nebraska, Omaha mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Although he returned home early after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, he was blessed with 26 years of remission before facing his second battle with cancer.

An avid football fan, Randy enjoyed both watching games and participating in fantasy leagues. He also had a genuine enthusiasm for anime and, as he would happily admit himself, shopping. Randy cherished his collection of LDS temples and Church memorabilia.

Randy always maintained a positive attitude throughout his trials and had a smile on his face, right up to the end. His gentle spirit, kindness, and outgoing nature endeared him to many who crossed his path.

He is survived by his loving mother, G. Marie Johnson; sister, Dyana Johnson, who devotedly cared for Randy during his final years; and brother, Michael Johnson. They will carry his memory in their hearts forever. Randy is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Melvin Johnson.

The family would like to thank Quality Hospice, Renew Hospice, Monument Health, Premiere Family Medical of Lehi, and Utah Cancer for their compassionate care.

Graveside services will be held Monday, May 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Lehi Utah Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Randy's life and the positive impact he had on all who knew him.
