Obituary

Reed Todd Evans, 62, passed away peacefully at home on July 27, 2022.

Todd was born on May 21, 1960 and was raised on the family farm in Lehi, Utah by his mother Lois Robinson Evans and his father Grant Stillwell Evans. He was taught to work hard, enjoy the simple things in life, be generous, kind, and helpful, and to be grateful for everything he had. He carried those attributes with him throughout his life.

Todd always loved being outdoors: growing up working and playing on the farm, running around with friends, working as a brick mason, hunting, fishing, camping, riding horses, and playing with his dogs. He had a deep love and respect for nature and wildlife and passed that onto his children and grandchildren.

He enjoyed "going to coffee" each morning, and catching up and staying connected with longtime friends. His friends and family all appreciated his sense of humor, quick wit, and big contagious laugh.

He loved being Grandpa Todd and his grandkids will always remember the good times they had with him: hunting, fishing, going to rodeos, going to breakfast, watching old westerns, listening to country music, and hearing his childhood stories. Grandpa enjoyed spoiling the grandkids at Christmas and was an example to all of us with his generosity and concern for others, especially during the holidays. He looked out for those in need and joyfully provided Christmas gifts and feasts for those who would not have had it otherwise.

He is survived by his children, Dylan (LeAnn), and Aspen; nine grandchildren: Canon, Ada, Nora, Ryder, Koen, Bridger, Reuben, Clara, and Lucia; brother, Cole (Kris); nieces and nephews and many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Lance and his sister, Eleni.

A graveside service will be held at the Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East, Friday, August 5th at 10:00 AM followed by a luncheon at 2161 West Gray's drive.
