Alice ReNae Carson Curtis
April 10, 1938 – October 15, 2025
Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Alice ReNae Carson Curtis, passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on April 10, 1938, to Clifford and Alice Carson, ReNae spent her life in Lehi, Utah, where she graduated from Lehi High School and built a life full of love, service, and cherished relationships.
On June 21, 1957, she was sealed to the love of her life, Ronald Jay Curtis, in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, they raised four children—Judy, Chad, Necia, and Colette—who were the joy and center of her world. ReNae was a devoted homemaker and mother, known for creating a warm, welcoming home.
ReNae and Ron shared a deep bond and enjoyed simple pleasures together—bowling, scenic drives, dinners up the canyon, camping, and going out with friends. After Ron's passing, ReNae treasured her time with lifelong friends from high school, the "teacher's group", and book club.
ReNae held many church callings, volunteered at the Family History Center, and served a church membership mission. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends, family, and neighbors in need. Among her various jobs, she especially loved her time as a switchboard operator and as a teacher's aide for a special needs class.
Her most treasured role was being Grandma Nae. She never missed a chance to attend her grandchildren's activities, offer a listening ear, or simply be present in their lives with unconditional love. One of the most special gifts she gave her family was her "Grandma Getaways". The family spent joyful days together, sharing laughter, playing reunion games, and competing in their beloved cornhole tournament.
ReNae was preceded in death by her husband, Ron, and her parents. She is survived by her children: Judy (Glade) Kirkham, Chad (Chari) Curtis, Necia (Rich) Russon, and Colette (Jothan) Bullock; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three sisters-in-law.
We love you to the moon and back—with a bushel and a peck.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 20, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 481 E 300 N, Lehi, Utah. A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 19, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Wing Mortuary in Lehi, and again one hour prior to the service.
