Obituary

Reta Madge Fowler Bryson passed away in her home in Lehi, Utah on July 17, 2023 after a valiant battle with cancer.  She was surrounded by the love and care of her family.

Madge, as she was known, was born December 27, 1949 to Milan and Ila Fowler in the Lehi Hospital in Lehi Utah.  She attended Lehi High School where she performed in musical and Pep Squad.  She attended Brigham Young University where she graduated with her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.  She taught first grade at Forbes Elementary.  She later worked for 14 years as a lunch lady in the Alpine School District.

She met her sweetheart, Randy Wallace Bryson, while living in Provo, UT.  They were married on August 12, 1975 for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City LDS temple.

The couple settled in Lehi, UT.  There they raised their family, served in many church callings, and assisted in PTA's, working swim meets, and supporting their children's many activities.  Her two great loves outside her family were music, and serving in the temple.

Madge is survived by her husband of 47 years, Randy Wallace Bryson, and her five children. Kjristina Madge (Troy) Hill, Scott Randy (Rachel) Bryson, Kenneth Wallace (Season) Bryson, Jonathan Richard (Lindsay) Bryson, Jilinda Rose Wray, and her 15 grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her Father, Milan Pearce Fowler ; her mother Ila Mae Spencer Fowler; her brother Richard M Fowler; and her sister Lois Ann Christensen.
