Rhonda Lee
Price Russon
Apr 20, 1937 — Apr 26, 2021
Rhonda Lee Price Russon returned to her Heavenly Father on April 26, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born April 20, 1937, to Roger and Hazel Price. She grew up in Lehi where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Glade Russon. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on June 2, 1955. Over the next almost 66 years together they welcomed three kids, Vicki (Guy) Sorenson, Collette (Rick) Jensen, Randy (Dorinda) Russon, 7 grandkids, and 14 great-grandkids.
Family was Rhonda's greatest joy and she freely showed her love to each and every one of them. As a family they enjoyed camping and boating trips to Lake Powell, backyard barbeques, and heading to California to visit family. Rhonda's Easter egg hunt was a favorite with all of the grandkids.
Rhonda was so giving and willing to serve those around her. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings over the years.
Rhonda patiently endured over 12 years with dementia and her devoted husband, Glade was by her side 24/7 until the end, providing her with excellent care that allowed her to remain in their home throughout her illness. The family would like to thank the loving caregivers over the past several years, Aspen Home Health, Beehive Senior Care, and Maple Creek Hospice for their service and compassion.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Glade's parents, one brother, Terry Price, and two sisters, Phyllis and Diane (David), and sister-in-laws Donna Woffinden (Leo) and Shirley Price. She is survived by her brothers, JR, Neil (Donna), and Paul, and her in-laws Nile and Myra Russon, Kent and Marsha Russon, and Bill Hayes.
A small funeral service for family and close friends will be held on Friday, April 30 at 11 a.m., with visitation an hour before at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1631 East 900 North, Lehi, UT. Interment will be at the Lehi Cemetery.
