Obituary

Robert Leit Rafiner

March 22, 1980 – November 18, 2025

Robert "Rob" Leit Rafiner, 45, passed away on November 18, 2025, following an auto-pedestrian accident while he was riding his pedal bike. He sustained a traumatic brain injury and left this world surrounded by his loving family.

Rob grew up in Lehi, Utah, and graduated from Lehi High School. From an early age, he embraced the outdoors and carried that passion throughout his life. He loved riding his dirt bike, exploring open spaces, and spending time at Lake Powell—boating, relaxing, and creating countless memories with family.

Rob's sense of humor could brighten any day, and he had a way of making everyone around him laugh. His genuine kindness, generous heart, and warm presence made him someone people were naturally drawn to. Everyone who met him felt his goodness. He was a hardworking man who always showed up with determination and a willingness to give his best.

Rob is survived by his daughter, Jennika; his mother, Beverly Rafiner; his sister, Tammy (Shane) Smith; and his brothers, Bruce (Julie) Rafiner, Randy (Becky) Rafiner, and Cory (Andrea) Rafiner. He was a wonderful son, brother, and uncle, and deeply loved by his extended family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Danny Rafiner, who passed away in 2015.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the ICU staff at Utah Valley Hospital, as well as the trauma team, for the exceptional care, compassion, and support they provided to Rob and to all of us during such a difficult time.

We will miss Rob dearly, but we are grateful he is finally free from pain and reunited in heaven with his dad, living the life and peace he deserves. Rob's memory will live on in the stories he inspired, the laughter he brought, and the love he shared with all who knew him.

"May he ride the open trails of heaven, where the air is clear, the hills are endless, and the freedom is forever."

Private services will be held at American Fork cemetery at a later date. The Rafiner family is deeply grateful for the love and support they've received and welcomes condolences sent to Rob's mother, Beverly Rafiner, or shared directly with any family member.
