Obituary

Roberta (Berta) Lynn Pinola, our loving Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Friend, Age 61 of Orem, Utah, returned home to her Heavenly Father suddenly on May 13, 2022. She had earthly struggles that were very difficult for her, but now she is out of pain physically.

She is now at peace in the loving arms of her Savior.

She was born on April 18, 1961, in Sebastopol, California Sonoma County the first child to Langford (Lanny) Roger Pinola and Diane Adele Wengreen. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She graduated from Union High School in Roosevelt, Utah in 1979. She Graduated 4 years of Seminary.

Her Hobbies were making crafts and the beautiful bracelets she would make for family and friends. Roberta loved Nature and all animals. She loved seeing new sights. Her last adventure she had with family was riding in a truck in Provo Canyon to see Bridal Veil Falls and Sundance, which she has cherished memories with going there with family. She loved music and singing and dancing in the car. Roberta loved her family, children and friends so much that she was a very giving person. Whenever you needed something, she would give even though she did not have much. She loved Shopping so much she would spend hours in the store. Roberta would share her candy and snacks with her friends. The gifts she gave to her family made her happy and smile and to see the happiness in our faces made her heart swell with gladness. She was happy to meet new people and she liked to make people laugh and smile. She would wave to make new friends. Roberta had such a contagious laugh you could not help but laugh with her. She was the Sunshine in our world. We will miss her, but we are happy that she is free.

Roberta cherished her Native American heritage. She is part Kashia Band of Pomo Indian, and Miwok located in Northern California.

She is survived by her mother Diane Wengreen of Lehi, sister Claudia Pinola (Emilee) of Provo, sister Lana Limb (Shawn) of Lehi, sister Lisa of Provo, daughter Reyna Pinola of Sacramento, California, son Anthony Pinola of Oregon, son Jeremy of Oregon, 6 Grandchildren, her niece Kellee Taylor, and nephew Nathanial Taylor. She was preceded in death by her father Langford (Lanny) Pinola, brother Lance Gabriel Pinola, and both sets of her Grandparents.
