Ron "Radar" Anderson passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 24th, 2022.

To put the story of this mans life into words is nearly impossible. He was the most loving husband, father, grandfather and friend that anyone could ever be blessed to know. He was brought into this world February 6th, 1955 the son of Heber Ray and Helvie Kangas Anderson, he was the last of 6 children. He was raised in American Fork. As a young 18 year old he was training race horses where he met his best friend JoAnn Hoyt Anderson. They were married in 1973 and moved to Lehi where they made the kind of life together that most people only dream of having.

It was in their loving home they raised their two sons Cort and Chad. He went to work for Lehi City and spent a career serving the place he called home. He was an amazing father and taught his boys that to be a great father you don't support your kids in the things they do but you do it with them. He spent all of his time with his kids, starting with coaching little league, showing chickens, and on to supporting the the kids of Utah in high school rodeos. He was one of the biggest role models and influencers in not only his kids lives but the lives of many kids from all over this state.

He loved all things outdoors. He spent countless hours and days fishing and hunting with his friends and family. He later loved to golf and spend time on the golf course with the same friends and family. Ron loved a good football season where not a Super Bowl went by without a board and a party to celebrate. Everyone that knew Ron knew there was always a cold beer, an ear and a chair in the garage to sit in and solve the worlds problems. To know Radar was to love Radar, he was the life of every party.

He is survived by his loving wife JoAnn Hoyt Anderson also known as (MOTHER), sons Cort Anderson, Chad (Nicki) Anderson, and Grandkids; Allie, Brynlee and Corbin Anderson.

A viewing will be held Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 6-8:00 PM at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Utah and One hour prior to the service on Friday morning. Funeral service will be at the Mortuary on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery following the service.
