Obituary

Ronald J Clark was born in Lehi, Utah to Kathleen Cavanagh
and James Leonard Clark on September 21, 1932. At the age
of 87, he passed away on Sunday morning, May 24, 2020, at his
Lehi home.

Ron grew up in Lehi, where he learned to work but, also loved to
hunt and fish. Ron attended Utah State Agricultural College and BYU, before
serving in the US Army. He served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints in the British Mission; then completed his
college degree at BYU in 1959—teaching 32 years in the Granite School
District and UVU.

Ron married Harriet Whiting in the Salt Lake Temple on August 4, 1961.
They are the parents of: Pat Higbee (Ric); Russ (Cami); Matt; Fran
Hafen (Dave); Debbie: Rex (Necia); Becky Burns (Scott); Jerry; Jan
Manning (Mike); Susan Burns (Brock); Vicky Thompson (Rich); and
Cindy Butterfield (Chad). They have 45 grandchildren and almost 9
great-grandchildren.

Ron has two sisters that survive him: Doreen Sharpe and Sharon Anderson.
Two brothers proceeded him in death: Willard Clark and Gene Clark.

After retirement, Ron farmed until his death.


A graveside service will be held at the Lehi Cemetery.
